Key Responsibilities:
Participates in estimating future capacity
Plans , co-ordinates and controls the industrial & Aministration processes
Organizes the resources and services necessary for producing required goods
Schedules production
Is responsible for: the selection and design of equipment; the plant layout; materials handling; and production planning (including demand forecasting, production scheduling and ordering of material) at the pre-production stage.
Procures and controls the maintaining equipment maintenance,
Oversees quality and inventory control,
Coordinates production activities among departments/Units.
Lays out the production schedule so that production quotas are met but financial and time constraints are respected.
Is responsible for scheduling the department work, disciplinary matters, and for identifying their training needs and progressing their career development with a close cooperation with the HR department
Estimates and plans the Headcounts time management and the sequence of production
Monitors the production to ensure that it stays on schedule and to fix any complications that may arise.
Modifies production levels on different product lines for more flexibility in their production process.
Explores ways to enhance the assembly and manufacturing process.
Assures that manufacturing cells and stations can quickly react to changes in customer demand
Monitors product quality by inspecting samples of finished goods, noting any defects in order to create statistical analyses of quality control problems.
Takes initiatives in improve or adding training programs to avoid that quality of work in the plant becomes an issue
Regularly consult with directors of other departments to prepare and execute company goals, guidelines, and operations.
Communication problems between the production department and the purchasing department
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. (Managerial skills)
Skill in budget preparation.
Ability to formulate mathematical formulas and other means to analyze and coordinate the plant s personnel and capital resources.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of cost analysis techniques.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
Ability of working with increasingly complex production operations.
Excellent persuasive and negotiations skills
University degree in Business Administration MBA is a plus.
8 years experience in the field of Business management of which ought to be at managerial level.
Fluency in written/spoken Arabic & English (French is an asset).
Computer literacy: MS windows applications (Essential: Excel spreadsheets, powerpoint)
WORK LOCATION: El Metn region - Lebanon
REPORTING TO: Chief Operations Officer
