Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are a growing Logistics, Warehousing (3PL), and Shipping Company in the UAE with a high-bay racked warehouse facility.
We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse, logistics, and shipping operations.
This is a practical, execution-focused role, not a desk-only managerial position. The candidate will be directly involved in setting up processes, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch)
- Supervise basic operational staff (warehouse helpers, forklift operators, coordinators)
- Coordinate with shipping and freight forwarding partners (sea, air, land)
- Ensure inventory accuracy, basic reporting, and stock control
- Coordinate with sales and customer service for order fulfillment
- Monitor operational costs and support cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with basic safety and operational standards
- Liaise with management on operational planning and improvements
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight operations in the UAE
- Practical experience in 3PL or warehouse operations
- Comfortable working with basic staff and lean teams
- Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and coordination
- Familiar with UAE logistics zones (JAFZA, DIP, industrial areas preferred)
- Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory tracking, emails)
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on attitude
