Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end freight movements, from origin to destination, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of goods, focusing on minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers (ocean, air, road) to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, contributing directly to cost savings and profitability.
Prepare and review shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations) with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring compliance with international regulations and avoiding penalties.
Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments through customs, proactively addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a bachelor's degree; a strong foundation for understanding the complexities of the industry.
Holds a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in freight forwarding operations, demonstrating practical knowledge and hands-on expertise.
Demonstrates proficiency in software, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
Exhibits a solid understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade documentation, ensuring compliance and smooth shipment processes.
