Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage:
    • Cataracts
    • Glaucoma
    • Retinal and corneal disorders
    • Refractive and ocular surface conditions
  • Perform:
    • Minor ophthalmic procedures
    • Laser treatments and injections (where applicable)
  • Conduct:
    • Comprehensive eye examinations
    • Vision assessments and follow-up care

Service Structure

  • Combination of outpatient clinics and procedural services
  • Access to diagnostic ophthalmology equipment
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and optometry support

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain high patient satisfaction and continuity of care
  • Participate in clinical quality and governance initiatives
  • Support development of ophthalmology services within satellite clinics

Desired Candidate Profile

Consultant or Specialist qualification in Ophthalmology

Female candidates preferred

UAE experience highly advantageous

Bilingual communication skills strongly preferred
