Roles & Responsibilities

To have a responsibility in conjunction with the medical staff for supporting the optometry service and delivering both independent and shared care for ophthalmic conditions, particularly acute eye conditions.
Examine patient's eyes, test their sight, give advice on visual problems, prescribe, and fit spectacles when needed. Trained to recognize diseases of the eye, such as glaucoma and cataract as well as eternal health conditions like diabetes./p>
