Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX

  • Design and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures

  • Build forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows

  • Integrate external systems using REST APIs and web services

  • Analyze existing systems and support migration from Oracle Forms to APEX

  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX)

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

  • Experience with Oracle Database 11g or higher

  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience in building interactive reports and forms

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON handling

  • Understanding of database design and performance tuning

  • Experience with Oracle Forms 6i (for migration projects)

  • Knowledge of Oracle REST Data Services

  • Experience in accounting, inventory, or ERP systems

  • Familiarity with UAE VAT / e-invoicing requirements

  • Experience with version control systems (Git)

  • Knowledge of APEX security (authentication & authorization)
