Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials, preferably within the Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting financial modules, working closely with clients to optimize business processes, and ensuring successful delivery of finance-related solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and support Oracle Financial modules such as:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management
Expense Management
Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into Oracle ERP configurations.
Perform functional testing, system validation, and support UAT activities.
Support finance users in daily operations, issue resolution, and enhancements.
Create and maintain functional documentation including solution designs, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
Collaborate with technical teams for development of reports, interfaces, and customizations.
Assist with data migration activities including FBDI templates and reconciliation.
Ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions within project timelines and scope.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle Financials (EBS or Fusion Cloud).
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and their application in ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with configuration and implementation of Oracle Financial modules.
Knowledge of financial reporting tools like OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, or FRS.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud Financials Certification (GL, AP, AR, etc.) is highly preferred.
Experience in multi-country or global implementations.
Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and web services.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Exposure to tools like Oracle ADFdi, Smart View, or FBDI.
