As an Order Taker In-Room Dining, you will be the voice of the service, ensuring every request is handled with warmth, accuracy, and efficiency, creating seamless dining experiences that reflect our brand s timeless luxury.

What will I be doing?

As Order Taker In-Room Dining, you will:

  • Answer all In-Room Dining calls promptly and professionally, taking guest orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menus, specials, and pairing options.
  • Ensure orders are entered correctly into the system and communicated clearly to the Culinary and Service teams.
  • Confirm order details with guests, including delivery times, dietary needs, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with the In-Room Dining team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Handle billing accurately and process payments in line with Hilton policies.
  • Manage guest complaints or concerns with discretion and efficiency, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of menus, promotions, and hotel offerings.
  • Keep the Order Taker desk organized and ensure records are maintained as per standards.
  • Perform additional administrative or service-related tasks to support the smooth operation of the In-Room Dining team.


What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a guest service or order-taking role, ideally within luxury hospitality.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in order-taking systems/POS and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • A professional, engaging, and service-oriented demeanor.
  • A passion for delivering personalized and refined guest experiences.
