Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and masking, ensuring a flawless base for paint application.
  • Apply paint, primers, and other coatings to heavy equipment and trucks, using various techniques like spraying, brushing, and rolling, to achieve a professional finish.
  • Mix paints and coatings to match specified colors and finishes, using color matching systems and techniques.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage, and perform necessary touch-ups and repairs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Holds a relevant certification in automotive painting or a related field, such as NACE or ASE.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in painting heavy equipment or trucks.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using various painting equipment, including spray guns, air compressors, and sanding tools.
