Hiring a qualified and competent experienced Painter fully aware about different services and types of equipment’s.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, regulations and permits as applicable to the nature of work.
• Perform skilled painting work in the preparation, patching, finishing and maintaining of all building structures, walls, woodwork, furniture .
• Ensure the safety of self, guest and other colleagues by following safe working procedures.
• Complete assigned painting projects with quality workmanship by preparing surfaces for painting using sandpaper, power sanders, steel woo, wire brushes, scrappers, paint removers and chemicals, filling nail holes, cracks, or joints
• with putty.
• Ensure compliance to standard engineering practice and local authority regulations.
• Proper use of PPE or personal protective equipment during the painting.
• Maintain list of tools, assets and equipment’s allotted by the department.
• Behave politely with guests, maintain high standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Whenever safe and possible, attend and resolve the issue and notify the line supervisor.
• Attend meetings and training as directed by superior.
• Follow all other instruction / rules and regulation that may be issued.
• Maintains service equipment’s.
• General housekeeping of engineering store and premises.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and update to the line supervisor.
• Repairs surfaces to be painted including plastering and sheet-rock finishing.
• Erects scaffolding, movable and immovable staging as required by the job following safety procedures.
• Tapes, flushes, repairs and applies texturing, wall paper and acoustic layers on a variety of surfaces. Adjust colors when necessary, utilizes enhanced finishing skills when appropriate.
