Key Responsibilities:

• Paint Technician is responsible for the proper preparation & application of painting materials and customer components to ensure that the paint applied to the components is of the highest standard, in accordance with organization's procedure and customer specifications.
• Carry out correct preparation of components for painting by masking, abrading, cleaning, paint stripping and refinishing according to procedures.
• Oversee the mix of paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
• Prepare paint materials according to instructions and measure viscosity as per relevant paint specifications and customer requirements.
• Carry out paint application using various application methods and tools to satisfy customer requirements.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and orderliness of paint workshop and equipment used in paint preparation, application and testing.
• Inspect materials and parts to ensure the fill of cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster).
• Ensure paint surfaces are organised according to instructions with various tools.
• Monitor the application of varnish and other finishes.
• Adhere to all health and safety precautions.
• Adhere to EPI Quality Standards and ensure the product meets customer expectations.
• Data collection and recording in relevant forms and documents as required, ensuring all relevant documents have been signed off correctly after completion of work.
• Verifying all working carried out has been done correctly and signing off documents.
• Proactively communicate and address safety concerns.
• Effective utilization of paint materials & Consumables.

Experience :

• Experience operating various Painting Equipment s & various application methods (Experience on Spray Application is a must)
• Previous work experience in NADCAP Certified environment is a plus
