Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily reconciliation of hotel revenues, including rooms, food & beverage, and other outlets, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Process and record supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals are obtained, and manage accounts payable functions efficiently.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of petty cash transactions, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • UAE National with a strong understanding of the UAE accounting principles and regulations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required to ensure a solid foundation in accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
