Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on achieving and maintaining Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards, focusing on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and facilitate CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation readiness assessments and preparation activities for healthcare organizations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to bridge organizational gaps identified during JCIA and CARF readiness surveys.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical policies, procedures, and operational workflows to ensure alignment with international accreditation requirements.
  • Train and mentor healthcare staff on best practices for patient care, risk management, and compliance related to JCIA and CARF standards.
  • Assist organizations in developing robust quality management systems and performance improvement frameworks.
  • Facilitate mock surveys and provide actionable feedback to address any deficiencies prior to official accreditation visits.
  • Advise on the integration of evidence-based practices into daily healthcare operations to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and submission of required documentation for JCIA and CARF accreditation applications.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for continuous improvement post-accreditation, ensuring sustained compliance and excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare management or quality improvement roles.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or maintaining JCIA accreditation for healthcare facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of JCIA and CARF standards, survey processes, and key performance indicators.
  • Proven track record in preparing organizations for and achieving CARF accreditation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex healthcare operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in healthcare quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a part-time capacity.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic or other relevant languages is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related clinical field.
