Desired Candidate Profile

This is a term-time only position, and applicants must hold their own UAE residency visa. The role is for 15 hours per week, spread across three days.

We are looking for an inspirational and forward-thinking individual with a genuine passion for literature, learning, and supporting young readers. The position requires a calm, personable manner and the ability to engage positively with students from EYFS to Year 6, including those who may be reluctant readers.

The Library Assistant will support the management of all library resources both physical and digital and play an important role in promoting a love of reading across the school community.

A genuine passion for books, reading, and supporting student learning.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

A collaborative, student-focused approach.

Previous experience working in a school or library environment is preferred.
