Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring an Event Decor Specialist to plan, prepare, build, and install event decorations for weddings, birthdays, surprise parties, gender reveals, proposals, and private celebrations. You will be responsible for creating visually impactful setups based on the client’s theme, budget, and venue requirements, and delivering high-quality installation and dismantling on event day.

  • Consult on décor concepts and convert client ideas into a clear theme, color palette, and layout.
  • Prepare décor plans for common setups: backdrops, balloon styling, floral styling (artificial and/or fresh if applicable), table styling, welcome signage area, cake table, stage/throne area, and photo corners.
  • Measure event spaces and ensure décor fits venue dimensions, access points, ceilings, and safety constraints.
  • Build, assemble, and install décor items (frames, arches, backdrop panels, signage stands, props, centerpieces).
  • Balloon work (if required): garlands, arches, columns, helium arrangements, ceiling balloons, and organic balloon styling.
  • Ensure décor quality: clean finishes, symmetry/alignment, stable structures, tidy cable/adhesive management, and professional presentation.
  • Coordinate with the operations team on timelines, manpower, transport, and site rules.
  • Execute event-day setup under time pressure and manage dismantling/collection after the event.
  • Handle and maintain inventory: décor items, tools, consumables, storage, and packing for transport.
  • Maintain a checklist for each event and report damaged/missing items after dismantling.
  • Follow health & safety practices (ladders, electrical lights, installation hardware, venue protection).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in event decoration and on-site setup (weddings and private parties preferred).
  • Strong aesthetic sense: color coordination, theme consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as per event schedules.
  • Physically able to lift and install décor structures and work on ladders safely.
  • Good communication, punctuality, and professionalism with clients and venues.
  • UAE driving license is a plus (if you want them to support transport/logistics).
  • Portfolio/photos of previous décor work required.
