Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide high quality Anesthesia care to the patent clientele
Provide consultation services to patients as requested
Teach and supervise residents in the Pathology Residency Program.
Participate in departmental and hospital teaching activities.
Participate in and initiate research activities.
Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
Maintain a list of privileges, and work within the confines of that perimeter.
Understand and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice.
Participate in the quality improvement and reviews conducted by the Department of Pathology
Perform other related duties as appropriate and as assigned.
Undertake continuing medical education activities.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education/Qualifications Required:
- Basic medical degree from recognized institution
- Post-qualification certification
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
- USA: The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
- Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (RCPS-C)
- UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP)
- Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
Experience Post-Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES).
- Minimum Five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
License:
- Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
