Roles & Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

The Missile Assembly and Disassembly Technical Assistance (TA) Lead is the principal authority for support and maintenance of the KSA Patriot Missile Assembly Disassemble Facility (MADF). The MADF TA Lead will provide onsite Patriot missile technical support to Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) personnel responsible for processing/testing/repairing of Patriot PAC-2 missiles and subassemblies at the RSADF MADF to maximize RSADF readiness. The MADF TA Lead will aid and advise RSADF with the oversight of the facility operations and assist as required with workflow and daily operational needs in relation to PAC-2 missile and subassembly test, assembly, disassembly and repair, based upon USG policy and guidelines within the (Field Surveillance Program Management Plan, Product Assurance Plan (PA Plan), Configuration Management Plan (CM Plan), and SPMF Operational Procedures). This activity will include advising on safety and best practices, participating as a team member in any assessments of the facility and equipment, assisting with documentation of issues and processes, and developing resolutions for any issues found. The MADF TA Lead will advise and assist RSADF with coordination of administrative requirements and purchases as required. The MADF TA Lead will aid and advise the RSADF personnel to ensure all manuals, spares, test equipment and manpower are in place to support on-going Patriot PAC-2 missile testing, assembly, and disassembly.

The MADF TA Lead will advise and assist with movements of assets and equipment management in the storage areas and the facility and will assist and make recommendations concerning the usability of chemicals in supply based on the manufacturer s expiration date. The MADF TA will maintain communications between the USG and the Patriot Missile Support Center (PMSC) CONUS in support to all RSADF MADF programs. The MADF TA will provide technical and program management support to the RSADF for their PAC-3 missile program based on the USG guidelines within the PAC-3 Master Plan.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Knowledge of daily operations in a Patriot Missile Facility (PMF) or a Missile Assembly and Disassembly Facility (MADF)
  • Must possess the hands on ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and calibrate all PMF or MADF equipment
  • Knowledgeable of general manufacturing processes with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience interpreting engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on abilities to perform or assist in missile assembly and test along with repairing non-operating tools and equipment
  • Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products
  • Must possess the hands on ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all patriot missile malfunctions

Required Education :

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science with 10 years related experience. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., Associates degree with 12 years of related experience, or High School graduate with 16 years of related experience

Desired Candidate Profile

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
