POSITION PURPOSE:
• Subject matter expert in areas of employment and Human Resources related regulations to ensure organizational compliance
• Develop, create, design and maintain performance strategy and programs that align with business objectives
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead on performance management concerns, provide coaching, diagnose problems and maintain associate relations
• Focus on performance development by managing the performance review process for all associates
• Analyze performance trends and legal regulations to create prevention strategies and process improvements to reduce/minimize risks
• Keep current on all associate-related legislative and regulatory changes
• Interface with Legal and external compliance agencies on litigation, investigations, claims and audits
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of ministry employment law and the ability to research and analyze current labour and employment law
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are necessary in order to influence decision making and to explain difficult issues
• Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and counselling experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills and conflict resolution
• Practical knowledge of investigative procedures
• A high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Proficient in MS Office
• 3-5 years of experience in HR
DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY/PROBLEM SOLVING:
• Adjudicating performance/behavioural associate relation issues, in particular gaining consensus with decision-makers after recommendations and counselling are provided
• Coaching at multiple levels of supervision: Support Center and associates.
