About Your Job
In this role, you will manage and set guidelines for the team of Performance Officers and Cabin Crew to ensure that every aspect of cabin crew development and daily operational tasks are met. You will provide support and assistance to the Senior Manager, Cabin Services and provide Performance Officers with a forum for ongoing communication and feedback in relation to the attainment of objectives and performance in core competency areas. You will also ensure the standards of the company are met by Cabin Crew.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Manage, supervise and organise the Performance Officer duties in order to increase productivity within the department
• Monitor and review assessments completed by each Performance Officer and follow up and delegate assessments when necessary
• Review and manage each Performance Officer, conducting assessments and carrying out assessments on Performance Officers to ensure standards are maintained and individuals are given assistance to develop as required
• Ensure each Cabin Crew provides effective feedback and reflects relevant performance indicators on an assessment. Ensure at least three assessments are conducted yearly for each Cabin Crew and follow up, communicate and implement solutions
• Develop and implement Service Standards and procedures ensuring they are up to Company standards and requirements
About you
To be effective in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelors degree qualification combined with at least seven years of experience related to this role. You will need to have been a Flight Attendant within a supervisory role with a background from business aviation. Two to three years of experience as a Performance Officer is required.
In addition to the above, you will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a well-developed approach to problem solving and analysis, and the ability to effective influence and coach others.
