Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications accurately based on veterinary prescriptions.
  • Offer suitable therapeutic alternatives where required, in collaboration with the prescribing veterinarian.
  • Monitor and manage batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock levels using FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure full compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification with eligibility to practice as a pharmacist.
  • Prior experience in veterinary or hospital pharmacy strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in managing inventory, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
  • Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
