Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical consultations to patients and healthcare professionals, offering accurate information and guidance on medication usage and potential side effects.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs within the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with MOH standards and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science and practice, including new drug approvals and treatment guidelines, to provide informed care.
  • Participate in public health initiatives and educational programs related to medication safety and appropriate drug use, as directed by the MOH.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) or Master of pharmacy(M pharm) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Hold a valid license to practice pharmacy in the relevant jurisdiction, with eligibility for MOH licensure.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting in UAE, demonstrating practical application of pharmaceutical knowledge.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff.

  • Familiarity with pharmacy information systems and electronic health records.

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Ready to relocate to Ras al Khaimah.
