Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible in providing the pharmacy department with data and reports to meet the pharmacy departments goals and objectives. Provides complete support for all office activities for the pharmacy administration of the assigned office. To comply with national and international standards.
Develop and maintain new programs for the department.
Utilizes computers for variety of office activities, including generation of reports for all pharmacy programs.
Writes new reports for statistical purposes.
Recommends alternative procedures for improvement of workflow in her scope of work.
Handles routine queries personally.
Handles minor administrative matters, based on knowledge and judgment regarding Hospital regulations, procedures and policies, completing project assignment as requested.
Takes and transcribes a variety of correspondence and compiles periodic reports on broad instructions from pharmacy administration.
Takes minutes as instructed by the pharmacy administration.
Controls the conduct of all general affairs, which affect the supervisor of the assigned office.
Composes replies to correspondence for pharmacy administration signature.
Maintains confidentiality of information and correspondence.
Serves as primary contact for persons seeking appointments with pharmacy administration to avoid unnecessary to supervisor?s schedule and referring visitors or telephone callers to subordinate personnel as necessary.
Maintains knowledge and records of current Hospital policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains a variety of files and other office systems necessary br>for the performance of the work.
Develops and coordinates the Quality Improvement Program within his/her area of responsibilities.
Maintains a clean working environment.
Serves as a role model and represents the department in a professional manner.
Adhere to the Dress and Appearance Code.
Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the range of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities as directed by Pharmacy Manager./p>
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential: Previous secretary experience in a Hospital
Desirable: Three (3) years as pharmacy secretary.
Essential:
Diploma of Management administration from accredited University
Diploma in computer science.
Desirable: Bachelor?s Degree of programming from accredited college. /p>
