• Collect blood samples from patients following safety and quality protocols.
• Properly label and store samples to prevent contamination or loss.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of collection areas and equipment.
• Ensure accurate patient information is recorded in laboratory databases.
• Perform venipunctures and other related procedures efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and laboratory standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
• Participate in continuous education and training to update phlebotomy skills.
• Promptly report any incidents or complications during sample collection.
• Assist in the infection control processes by following established guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Phlebotomy is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist is desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical and laboratory safety policies and procedures.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective patient and team communication.
• Ability to multitask and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Competence in data entry and handling information with confidentiality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.
