Job Description
The pile monitoring specialist shall be qualified and experienced, and properly trained to operate all equipment.
Roles And Responsibilities
1.1 Primary Duties and Responsibilities
a) To check that the pile driving analyzer and transducers are in working order
b) To ensure that the required equipment is mobilized for the authorized scope of work
c) To prepare or check the threaded holes for attaching the sensors
d) To mount the sensors on the pile, and retrieve the sensors at the completion of pile driving
e) To supervise the equipment on deck
f) To operate the pile driving analyzer
g) To ensure that the data acquisition and onboard processing are conducted to specification
h) To process the collected data
i) To prepare the field report
j) To store the raw and processed data
1.2 Specific Additional Duties
a) To assess he as-installed pile capacity
b) To estimate the long-term pile capacity
c) To perform signal matching (CAPWAP) analyses
d) To recommend accepting or rejecting each driven pile
e) To act as an expert on the project
Requirements
Qualifications required:
a) Degree level
b) Minimum 3 to 5 years experience
c) Conversant in English
