Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install and maintain piping systems in industrial, commercial, or residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
- Cut, bend, and assemble pipes using various tools such as pipe wrenches, soldering equipment, and threading machines.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and any issues encountered during installations or repairs.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices.
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions using pressure gauges and other diagnostic tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven work experience of at least 3-5 years in pipe fitting or a related field.
- Strong technical skills in pipe installation, welding, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in challenging environments.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
