Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D models for onshore oil and gas facilities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Generate and review piping deliverables such as General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping plans, and material take-offs (MTOs).
- Collaborate with piping engineers and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of piping systems with structural, civil, and mechanical designs.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using 3D modeling tools.
- Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers to ensure compatibility with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API) and client-specific requirements (e.g., ADNOC standards).
- Participate in model reviews, design reviews, and client meetings to address technical issues and ensure project alignment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8-15 years of experience as a Piping Designer, with a focus on onshore oil and gas projects.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as SP3D
- Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and specifications for oil and gas applications.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases of oil and gas projects.
- Familiarity with international standards like ASME B31.3 and client-specific standards such as ADNOC specifications.
- Must be ready to join immediately and work in Abu Dhabi.
