This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Piping Engineer with a proven track record in designing, analyzing and ensuring the integrity of piping systems for safe and efficient transport of fluids and gases in industrial settings for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Designing and analyzing piping systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations in piping design and installation.
• Conducting risk assessments and system evaluations to maintain integrity and reliability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including construction and maintenance, for seamless project execution.
• Overseeing the installation and operation of piping systems to meet project requirements.
• Implementing innovative solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Continuous promotion of, and adherence to, the discipline specific procedures and providing feedback for continuous improvement
• Support the development and delivery of the technical assurance framework
• Monitor compliance with competence standards
• Participate in incident investigations as required
• Set performance expectations for direct reports
• Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development
• Provide discipline support to the business
• Ensuring learning opportunities are captured and realized
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
• Proficient in scope definition
• Be part of PMT client team overseeing EPC contractors
• Oversee Piping Engineering work being carried out by EPC contractors for major greenfield and brownfield projects as part of the Clients PMT

Expected:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of five (5+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (3) years (preferred) in GCC region.
• Offshore experience is must, whilst ADNOC experience is desired.
• FEED experience is a must
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
• Experience of working in a multi - project / multi - disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
