Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using software tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
  • Conduct resource allocation analysis to optimize productivity and minimize delays, adjusting schedules as necessary based on ongoing project developments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and potential bottlenecks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Enhanced Job Requirements (Including ADNOC & Offshore Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is essential.

  • 10+ years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction, engineering, or oil & gas sectors, preferably on large‑scale EPC projects.

  • Hands‑on experience working on ADNOC projects (onshore or offshore) is highly preferred, with strong familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications, stage‑gate processes, and reporting requirements.

  • Offshore project experience—including exposure to brownfield modifications, shutdowns/turnarounds, or offshore construction activities—is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in project management and planning software such as Primavera P6 (mandatory), MS Project, and other relevant tools used for schedule development, progress measurement, and resource planning.

  • Strong understanding of EPC workflows, including engineering deliverables, procurement cycles, fabrication, construction sequencing, and commissioning logic.

  • Certification as a Planning Engineer (e.g., PMI‑SP, AACE PSP, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.

  • Experience preparing and maintaining Level 1–4 schedules, delay analysis, critical path assessments, and recovery plans.

  • Solid knowledge of project controls, including progress measurement systems, KPIs, earned value management, and reporting dashboards.

  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and offshore operations, ensuring alignment with project milestones.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting schedule updates to clients, consultants, and ADNOC representatives.
