Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive baseline project schedule using Primavera P6 (mandatory), incorporating all activities, logic relationships, resources, and constraints.
Update the schedule weekly/monthly with actual progress, identify critical path delays, and propose effective recovery plans.
Prepare and present detailed progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards for management and client meetings.
Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and monitor their performance.
Analyze the impact of client-initiated changes or unforeseen site conditions on the project timeline and support in preparing time extension claims.
Conduct "what-if" scenario planning to assess risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with the cost control team to develop cash flow forecasts based on the schedule.
Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure all parties are aligned with the planned sequence and durations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 7-9 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, with a proven track record on UAE construction projects valued at AED 100M+.
Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6 EPPM certification is a plus) and MS Project.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource leveling.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
