Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare project schedules and work breakdown structures using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
  • Analyze delays and provide mitigation plans.
  • Track resource allocation and productivity to optimize project efficiency.
  • Update project schedules based on actual progress and forecast future timelines.
  • Support project managers in preparing look-ahead schedules and planning documents.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work progress and resolve planning-related issues.
  • Participate in progress meetings and prepare reports for clients and management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience in electrical works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring that all electrical engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.


  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • Experience as a Planning Engineer in electrical or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and construction planning.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with TAQA (ADDC, AADC), or other utility authority standards is an advantage.
  • UAE experience preferred.
