Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules (baseline and progress) for civil & MEP works using Primavera P6/MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and submit project planning documents, including method statements, progress reports, and recovery plans, in compliance with Abu Dhabi authorities’ requirements.
  • Conduct critical path analysis, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation measures to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project progress against the schedule, analyze variances, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with local authorities for submissions, approvals, and compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations (e.g., ADM, DMT, ADDC, etc.).
  • Participate in project meetings, providing planning-related inputs and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Assist in resource planning, cost control, and valuation activities to ensure project efficiency and profitability.
  • Review and incorporate design changes, site conditions, and other variables into the project schedule.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.

5–8 years of planning experience in the construction of industrial/commercial buildings in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority regulations and submission procedures.

Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
