Job Description

- Review and endorse contractors baseline schedules in line with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practices
- Validate resource allocation and schedule logic to ensure timely project completion
- Develop and maintain master schedules integrating multiple work packages and interdependencies
- Identify potential risks, conflicts, and delays and document them in the project risk register
- Review progress schedules and identify slippages, critical events, and delay risks with mitigation measures
- Perform what-if and time impact analysis for variations, changes, and potential events
- Prepare progress and monthly reports with program analysis, recommendations, and milestone tracking
- Conduct detailed delay and claims analysis including extension of time and disruption assessments
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve planning and scheduling issues
- Support finalization of contractor programs, reports, and claims with the client
- Attend project meetings and prepare accurate minutes and planning inputs
- Prepare trackers and logs to monitor critical design and construction issues
- Agree and implement progress measurement systems and performance indicators
- Maintain proper project records and contemporary documentation
- Issue delay notices and performance letters where required
- Manage and mentor junior planning engineers, providing technical and leadership guidance
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institution
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling on infrastructure or large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces, and coordination requirements
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Proven ability to manage complex programs and lead planning teams
