Job Description
Planning Engineer Parsons Corporation Dubai, UAEbr> br>Position Overviewbr>Planning Engineer role in Dubai supporting major infrastructure projects for Parsons Corporation. - Review and endorse contractors baseline schedules in line with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practicesbr>
- Validate resource allocation and schedule logic to ensure timely project completionbr>
- Develop and maintain master schedules integrating multiple work packages and interdependenciesbr>
- Identify potential risks, conflicts, and delays and document them in the project risk registerbr>
- Review progress schedules and identify slippages, critical events, and delay risks with mitigation measuresbr>
- Perform what-if and time impact analysis for variations, changes, and potential eventsbr>
- Prepare progress and monthly reports with program analysis, recommendations, and milestone trackingbr>
- Conduct detailed delay and claims analysis including extension of time and disruption assessmentsbr>
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve planning and scheduling issuesbr>
- Support finalization of contractor programs, reports, and claims with the clientbr>
- Attend project meetings and prepare accurate minutes and planning inputsbr>
- Prepare trackers and logs to monitor critical design and construction issuesbr>
- Agree and implement progress measurement systems and performance indicatorsbr>
- Maintain proper project records and contemporary documentationbr>
- Issue delay notices and performance letters where requiredbr>
- Manage and mentor junior planning engineers, providing technical and leadership guidancebr>
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institutionbr>
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling on infrastructure or large-scale construction projectsbr>
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces, and coordination requirementsbr>
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 scheduling softwarebr>
- Proven ability to manage complex programs and lead planning teamsbr>
