Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Planning Engineer – Railway Systems
Location: Al Ain (Site-based, 6 days/week)

We are hiring a Planning Engineer to support railway systems projects in Al Ain. The role involves developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project milestones and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6

  • Track progress and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports

  • Conduct critical path and delay analysis with corrective actions

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams

  • Review contractor schedules and ensure compliance with project requirements

  • Support resource planning and forecasting

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, preferably in railway systems projects

  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Excel

  • Experience in large infrastructure or transportation projects

  • PMP certification is a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately

  • Willing to work on-site in Al Ain (6 days/week)

  • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
