Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage Planning activities. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to scope and schedule control and analysis activities.
  • Interfaces with management and project team for specific project planning controls presentations. Develops and presents scope and schedule reports and presentations for key project stakeholders.
  • Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones. Develops micro-phasing schedules as required to coordinate particularly challenging work phases; and helps coordinate the various parties to completion.
  • Lead a team of planning engineers and coordinators, assigning responsibilities and providing guidance on project scheduling and progress tracking
  • Review and approve project schedules and resource plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations
  • Conduct regular project schedule reviews and performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Manage project risks related to scheduling and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential delays
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations on project planning activities to senior management and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the domain of project management, project control, planning and production control, in related industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
  • Hand-on experience in P6 Primavera software
  • Ability to understand and work on Risk & opportunity is an added advantage
  • Preferably with experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects
