Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
WSA Engineering Consultancy LLC is actively seeking an experienced Planning Manager experience particularly in Mass Villa Projects to join our Site Supervision team in Dubai.
1. Project Planning and Scheduling
Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Define project milestones, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with design, construction, and client teams.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
2. Resource Management
Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimize performance and efficiency.
Forecast manpower, material, and financial requirements in line with project objectives.
Coordinate with department heads to address resource constraints and adjustments as required.
3. Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Continuously monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans where necessary.
Conduct critical path analysis and report potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
4. Coordination and Communication
Act as a key liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting progress, achievements, and challenges.
Facilitate coordination meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and update project schedules.
5. Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure all project plans and schedules comply with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of schedules, revisions, and approvals.
Support the development and implementation of best practices and planning tools for continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in an architectural or construction setting.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or planning (e.g., PSP) is highly desirable.
