Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain Baseline Programs (resource & cost-loaded) in line with project requirements.
- Monitor weekly progress, analyze planned vs. actual performance, and highlight delays, risks, and critical issues to the project team.
- Improve and track labor and staff productivity, ensuring optimized utilization across project activities.
- Identify engineering, procurement, and ID design approval delays; collaborate with relevant departments to drive solutions and keep the project on schedule.
- Prepare and validate resource-loaded schedules; assess the realism of resource quantification and ensure alignment with project deadlines.
- Conduct schedule impact assessments, mitigation planning, and recovery programs where required.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, cost control, and construction teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily planning reports, dashboards, and forecasting updates.
- Lead the planning team and ensure compliance with industry standards and project controls best practices.
- Ensure adherence to contractual milestones and support claims/extension of time submissions when necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 12–18 years of experience in Planning, with at least 5+ years in high-rise building construction.
- Expert user of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project planning tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, procurement cycles, and construction sequences.
- Proven experience preparing cost & resource-loaded baseline programs.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead planning functions independently and work under pressure to meet project targets.
