Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing baseline programs, handling Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and preparing complete baseline program packages with resource and cost loading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain baseline project schedules in line with contract requirements.
  • Prepare complete baseline program packages, including:
    Resource loading
    Cost loading
    Supporting planning narratives and documentation
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual performance.
  • Analyze project delays and prepare EOT (Extension of Time) claims with proper substantiation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to collect progress data and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare periodic planning reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
  • Support project management in identifying risks, constraints, and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and client requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in baseline program development
  • Proven expertise in EOT preparation and delay analysis
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 / MS Project
  • Experience in resource and cost loading
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills
  • Good understanding of construction contracts and scheduling best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or relevant discipline preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role
  • Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
