Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials (films, inks, adhesives) to ensure they meet specified quality standards, focusing on critical attributes like gauge, color, and adhesion.
  • Perform in-process quality checks during the flexible packaging production process, including monitoring printing quality, seal integrity, and dimensional accuracy to prevent defects.
  • Operate and maintain quality control equipment, such as tensile testers, seal strength testers, and spectrophotometers, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Analyze test data and generate reports on quality performance, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds relevant certifications, such as ISO 9001 or HACCP, showcasing a commitment to quality management systems and food safety standards.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, with hands-on experience in quality control and assurance roles.

  • Exhibits a solid understanding of flexible packaging materials (films, laminates, coatings), printing processes, and converting technologies.
