Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and lead plumbers and helpers on-site.

  2. Plan and execute plumbing works such as water supply, drainage, and piping systems.

  3. Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and specifications.

  4. Ensure proper installation of pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures.

  5. Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion.

  6. Conduct testing of plumbing systems (pressure testing, leak testing).

  7. Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and other trades.

  8. Ensure materials are used efficiently and report shortages.

  9. Maintain quality standards as per project requirements.

  10. Enforce safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.

  11. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues on-site.

The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing all plumbing-related tasks and staff on construction projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems in buildings, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
