Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Overseeing a team of engineers and designers to deliver accurate offshore structural designs.
  • Reviewing calculations, datasheets, and drawings to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Developing efficient and sustainable designs from conceptual to detailed stages.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical and commercial risks in offshore structural engineering.
  • Utilizing industry-standard tools like STAAD.PRO, SACS, and ANSYS for structural analysis.
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimize layouts and resolve interference issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all structural work

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills And Qualifications

Expected:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Offshore Marine Engineering or Similar
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven core Structural Engineering skills, including design experience and preferably in the offshore Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience of working in a variety of projects and phases, including greenfield and brownfield, on and offshore, Pre-FEED through to EPC, with a focus on offshore upstream.
  • A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness
  • Ability to impact and influence fellow workers
  • Demonstration of customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
