My Sports Academy is looking for vigilant, responsible, and proactive Lifeguards to join our aquatics team. As a key member of our safety team, you will ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all swimmers across our venues during lessons, afterschool programs, swim squads, and events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment, has a keen eye for safety, and is passionate about working with children and families in a sport-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pool activities to ensure the safety of all participants

• Respond quickly and effectively to all emergency situations

• Carry out daily safety checks and pool maintenance procedures

• Enforce pool rules and academy policies professionally and respectfully

• Support coaches and teachers during lessons and events

• Maintain accurate incident and safety records

• Promote a positive and supportive environment for swimmers of all ages

Requirements:

• Valid lifeguard qualification (e.g. NPLQ, RLSS, or internationally recognized equivalent)

• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong awareness of water safety and emergency procedures

• Professional, approachable, and calm under pressure

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

• Experience working in a school or sports academy setting

• Knowledge of pool operations and basic facility maintenance

• Swim teaching or coaching certifications (optional but a plus)
