Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on PP and PVC materials using heat fusion, electrofusion, butt welding, and extrusion techniques.
  • Fabricate and assemble components based on technical drawings and work orders.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and form PP materials.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure welded parts meet required standards and tolerances.
  • Handle and store PP materials in line with safety and quality protocols.
  • Inspect and test welded joints: troubleshoot and rectify defects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet deadlines and specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabricating PP and PVC pipes or similar plastic materials.
  • Proven expertise in heat fusion,extrusion, and butt welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with both manual and automated welding equipment.
  • Certification in welding preferred; formal training/apprenticeship in plastic welding is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of welding principles, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
