Pre Sales and Estimation Engineer - ELV

Location: ABU DHABI

Reporting to: ELV Technical Manager

Co-ordinates with: All departments

Who do we need?

Trans Emirates Systems LLC is looking for a Sales Executive to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for sales generation for our IT-Hardware, Networking Products and Cyber Security division.

Experience:

  • Min. 02 years hands on experience as Pre-Sales and Estimation Engineer in ELV Systems. (Systems-Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA Systems)

Main Purpose Of The Job:

  • "The Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the technical clarity in complex solutions. The PSE collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers."
  • The PSE is responsible for achieving preparing accurate BOQ and generate profit for the organization.
  • Reporting to the Technical Manager, the PSE reports also to the sales manager or business line manager responsible for the sales team supported.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers business requirements
  • Prepare Drawings and BOQ for Various proposals
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the assigned accounts.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of new suppliers.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports on a daily basis.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Knowledge in Tender documents, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

  • To be very literate in computer operation and should be able to handle all reports and correspondence on the computers independently
  • Excellent knowledge of AUTOCAD, Microsoft word and excel.
  • Should have good presentation skills especially for documents (PDF)
