Key Responsibilities
The role of the Pre-Sales Engineer - Unify is to maintain strong technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits of Unify to be able to support Sales, and also train and update/enable partners on all Unify technology. The position holder must work together with the Vendor teams and TA Partner Sales Managers and Partners to establish and understand the Customers' requirements. This will require traveling in the MENA region from time to time.
• Articulate Unify technical and business solutions through understanding of the Markets and Products, with inputs and suggestions to business plans developed by sales teams on an annual basis. Implementation knowledge will be an advantage.
• Assist Sales in developing complex deals, ensuring business requirements have been met on the technology side. Identify the appropriate Unify solutions that meet the Customers' requirements. Deliver effective solution presentations and proposals tailored to the Customers/Partner requirements and effectively communicate technical answers to questions Customer/Partners may have regarding the solution.
• Actively provide a technical steer to strategic projects with Partners. Demonstrate the ability to compare Unify products with competitive products, as well as the ability to communicate the benefits of Unify, utilizing an awareness of market and product positioning and demonstrating an understanding across product ranges and appreciation of cross-product impacts. Certifications for all Unity technology will be an ongoing requirement.
• Ensure Unify Channel Partners are enabled. Actively deliver presentations to partners and customers on Unify technology. Help to write RFP, Tenders, Solution write-ups, Competitive analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years technical experience in UC portfolio Solution designing from any of the major vendors- Unify, Siemens, Avaya, Alcatel, Mitel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Negotiating skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player
• Fluency in English
• Arabic will be an advantage
