Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum (CBSE, as applicable).
• Use innovative teaching methodologies, including activity-based and experiential learning, to enhance students' understanding.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to track student progress.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
• Utilize technology and interactive tools to make learning engaging.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports student participation and collaboration.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mathematics or Education. A B.Ed. is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in primary grades, preferably in an international or CBSE/IB curriculum.

Strong understanding of child-centered teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
