A large British curriculum, international school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, requires several experienced Primary Teachers for various teaching roles from KG to Grade 5 / EYFS to Year 6.
About the school
• A British curriculum, international school (CIE and IGCSE) located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
• Provides an international education to the expatriate and local community from KG to Grade 12 (EYFS Year 13)
• Separate Boys and Girls school campuses with state of the art facilities, including; multiple swimming pools, science laboratories, sporting facilities, full teaching libraries, air conditioned basketball courts, beautifully spacious and equipped classrooms and IT resources
• Member of the Council of International Schools (CIS)
• Located close to local shopping malls, theme parks, water parks, beaches / scuba diving, hotels/resorts, restaurants and tourist attractions
• An hour from the world-famous, religious and cultural destination of Mecca the holiest city in the religion of Islam
The successful Primary Teachers will:
• Join a cohesive school team of international expat teachers and a successful, supportive and growing department
• Be an outstanding practitioner possessing exemplary subject knowledge with a proven track record of improving pupil attainment
• Have experience teaching primary level education (KG to Grade 5 / EYFS to Year 6) whether British, IB, American, Canadian or New Zealand curriculum
• Preferably have Cambridge Primary Curriculum (CIE UK) experience (although not compulsory)
• Be one of the following nationalities: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Holland or Lebanon
The successful Primary Teachers must:
• Have a teaching qualification i.e. Degree in Education with QTS or PGCE with QTS or Bachelors of Education or Masters degree & teaching experience
• Have a minimum of two five years teaching experience
• Possess an excellent command of the English language
