Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and related systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
  • Supervise the contractoru2019s work, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring to ensure timely completion of M&E systems.
  • Manage and respond to RFIs, submittals, and technical queries related to mechanical and electrical works.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review project documentation, including material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project efficiency.
  • Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings, providing technical input and status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in the relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in infrastructure services, preferably within the UAE.
  • Experience in Main Pumping Stations, 33kV Substations, and Transmission Networks
  • Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA, approval from TRANSCO is preferred
  • Strong technical expertise in pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and M&E systems.
  • Proven experience in construction supervision, quality control, and contract administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
