Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust printing machines according to job specifications, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
- Monitor the printing process in real-time, identifying any issues that may arise and taking swift corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks on printed materials, assessing color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure that printed materials meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any incidents that occur during the process.
- Stay updated on the latest printing technologies and techniques, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues independently, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a printing environment, with a strong understanding of various printing techniques.
- Certifications in printing technology or machine operation will enhance your candidacy.
- Familiarity with digital printing, offset printing, and flexographic processes is essential.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting job orders, technical manuals, and safety protocols.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address machine issues promptly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints consistently.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to operate machinery and handle materials safely.
