The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses and to lead the change management role on projects, ensuring all inputs are available, factory is geared up for new innovations, VIP, product transfers, roll-outs, recipe changes, line extension within an agreed time plan. She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focussed Improvement ,Autonomous Pillar , Quality pillar methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Operations , Quality, Cost Deployment and optimize the cost for Operation.
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
Working directly with the line crews and Technical Teams on a daily basis to identify the losses and countermeasure. The Process Engineer also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of counter-measures as well. The Process Engineer is responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is to eliminate losses and wastes using WCM/UMS/Continuous improvement methodologies and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of semi-autonomous teams to Autonomous Team. Do technical risk assessments for projects. Prepare and execute factory trials, including report results and develop process manuals. Supervise 1st productions and conduct relevant training for operators. Implementation of Focused improvement pillar &Autonomous Pillar ,Supporting Planned maintenance ,Quality Pillar
Desired Candidate Profile
Experiences & Qualifications
Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering Graduate
Minimum 3 years factory role, continuous improvement/Process engineer experience in FMCG industry , Personal care / Beauty and Wellbeing experience preferred
Hands on Experience on managing Focused Improvement projects
Must demonstrate a strong technical knowledge from previous practice with evidence of elimination wastes and losses from production lines.
Must possess strong engineering leadership credentials with a proven ability to manage highly automated Lines/Process.
Skills
Analytical capability. Collect and analyze complex data to penetrate problems phenomena and understand root causes. Various Root cause analysis tools and countermeasures.
